Well, now that I'm out of the hospital, and have (YIKES!) turned forty! I'm trying, as I am constantly, to revisit the things that I've resolved to do both at New Years and on Earth Day. I'm bound and determined to reduce our trash consumption, despite the infuriating efforts of my husband to thwart me, however unintentionally. I would like to end up with only one bag at the end of each week, rather than the apparent limitless numbers of bags that go out of here each week!
In other (more local) news, I am in love! With my friend Pam and her son here this weekend, for my birthday, we took the boys to see "UP" on Saturday (which was, by the way, terrific!) On our way out of the Short Pump Regal Cinema, my eye was caught by a new place just next door. Sweet Frog is a new "do it yourself" frozen yogurt store in the shopping center right next to the movie theater. It is just like PinkBerry!! I don't know if you're familiar with Pinkberry, but it is absolutely ridiculously awesome! You pick your flavor (I ALWAYS go for Original Tart), then add your toppings- I added some blueberries and strawberries, and a few fruity pebbles. Delicious!!! I would highly recommend it!
I have to go to sleep, as I'm fading fast- however, I'm sure that tomorrow's dowse of Sweet Frog will perk me right up. The only thing I don't like is the styroafoam. I think I'm going to figure out if they'll let me use my own container. That would REALLY terrific!!
